Christian Royer, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery who sees patients in Dallas and Frisco. He treats a wide range of foot and ankle ... conditions, including ankle arthritis, foot and ankle sports injuries, tendon disorders, bunions, hammertoes, ankle instability, fractures, deformities and complex reconstructive conditions. His expertise includes both non-surgical treatment options and advanced surgical procedures, including ankle replacement surgery, minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. As a fellowship-trained foot and ankle specialist, Dr. Royer is committed to helping patients relieve pain, restore mobility and return to the activities they enjoy. He completed advanced fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery in Dallas under nationally recognized leaders Dr. James Brodsky and Dr. John Early. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Royer serves as Assistant Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center and Chair of the HealthTexas Orthopaedic Surgery Section. He is a faculty member of the Baylor University Medical Center Foot and Ankle Fellowship and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. He actively participates in foot and ankle research and is a frequent national speaker on foot and ankle topics. Recognized for his excellence in patient care, Dr. Royer was named a D Magazine Best Doctor in Collin County multiple times and was also recognized as a D Magazine Best Doctor. He has additionally been named one of Texas Monthly's Texas Super Doctors for more than a decade, earning a place in the publication's Hall of Fame.
