Biography


Dr. Mohammed Salih is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in interventional and structural heart disease. He is dedicated to providing advanced, patient-centered cardiovascular care and treats a wide range of heart ... conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart attacks, heart failure, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and complex valve disorders.


Dr. Salih has extensive expertise in minimally invasive, catheter-based heart procedures, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), mitral valve and tricuspid valve therapies, complex coronary interventions, chronic total occlusion (CTO) procedures, left atrial appendage closure, and PFO and ASD closure. His goal is to offer innovative treatment options that help patients achieve the best possible outcomes while minimizing recovery time.

After earning his medical degree from the University of Baghdad College of Medicine, Dr. Salih completed his residency training in Michigan and advanced fellowships in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and structural heart disease at Baylor University Medical Center and Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital - Plano.

Dr. Salih is an active contributor to cardiovascular research and has authored numerous publications and presented at leading national and international cardiology conferences. He is committed to staying at the forefront of innovation to bring the latest advances in heart care to his patients.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Salih enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, gardening, repairing electronics, and playing soccer. He speaks both English and Arabic.
